Proud as punch with what I had made I trundled off to the nearest likely retailer. Happy though I was, for that shop it was not good enough. A little disappointed and rejected… back to the drawing board; they were perfect, too perfect in fact. Rust was what was needed.

So I developed a very special way to make rusty, real looking reproductions of old signs.

Now, I can have my favourite signs around the place looking old and beautiful. It’s taken me 5 years and 3 months to get what I wanted; the materials, the designs, and the rust. Can you believe rust was my last and biggest hurdle!
